We hope you all had a wonderful summer! We are currently scheduling lessons for the fall 2017 semester. If your child is interested in taking private lessons on clarinet, trumpet, or in jazz improvisation, please contact us as soon as possible. You can email us or use our contact form on this page. Lesson times may fill up quickly, so please contact us sooner rather than later and we would love to have you join our studio!
Regular lessons will most likely begin the week of August 28th, although some lessons may begin sooner at Viking and later at ZBTHS (contact us for more details).
It is our hope that you will find this website useful for managing schedules and payments, and that you and your children will find resources that will help them in their musical education. We are excited to offer online payment options again this year. You will need to log in to this website to set up the online payment. Please let us know if you need your login information re-sent.
As always, please contact us if you have any questions or concerns! Have a great 2017-2018 school year. Happy practicing!

Dear Students & Parents,
Summer is almost here and we are excited to offer a "summer semester" of lessons!
For ZBTHS students only, Mrs. Eikenberry is offering a discounted semester of four 45-minute lessons for $85 total. If you are interested, you can sign up for your four lessons right here on the calendar portion of the website. Just click on what time you would like to meet for each week and click Register. You must sign up for four lessons and pay in advance. Payments can be made online or in person on the first lesson. If you want to take lessons this summer but aren't available at the times on the calendar, please just contact Mrs. Eikenberry directly about setting up a different time. I will make sure to find a time that works for you! It's important to keep playing throughout the summer so we'll make it work somehow with your busy schedules!
For non-ZBTHS students, you should contact Mr. or Mrs. Eikenberry via email about setting up lesson times for this summer.
Other summer band opportunities include: Viking Middle School Summer Lessons, Beach Park Middle School Summer Band, Waukegan Band (H.S. only)
There are also plenty of music summer camps that we highly recommend (ISYM, Interlochen, Blue Lake, Wisconsin Whitewater), but registration is most likely closed for this summer. Next year maybe!
Thanks! Looking forward to an awesome summer of music!

Dear Students & Parents,
Happy New Year! We hope you all had a fantastic holiday and a restful break. As we begin the second semester of this school year, we want to give a few updates regarding lessons.
Congratulations to those students who auditioned for All-Illinois Junior Band this year! We are proud of you for your efforts and the way you improved. A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Skyeleigh (Viking MS) for making first chair in the trumpet section of the All-Illinois Jr. Band (AIJB) and to Jeth (Viking MS) for making fourth chair in the trumpet section. Both trumpet students will be performing in Champaign with the AIJB on January 14! Way to go!!
